Have you been riding for a while? Feel like your not making progress on your own? We can help take you to that next level. We have excellent advance lesson horses to improve any horsemen skills. Want to bring your own horse? We can to do that too, trailer in for a day lesson, or join our advanced training program.
Beginner Lessons
Meet a Horse
Ever dream of galloping through the hills. Have you always wanted to learn to ride? Do you have a child that nays more than they talk? Come learn to ride from the beginning. Our horses are gentle and extremely safe. We except riders from the age of 3 years old to 65 and over. Our horses will make you fall in love with the art of riding. Enjoy an hour lesson where we teach you to prepare your horse for riding and we work at the pace of each individual rider with your personal instructor at your side.
Intermediate Lessons
Growing Together
Once we have established a confident and capable rider, now is the time to try your skills in a group or shared lesson. Learn by riding with others. Riding with others not only provides a social connection thru riding, but helps each rider develop arena riding management skills.
Tiny Tot Lessons
3-5 year Olds
Do you have a little one that can't stop talking about horses? We provide a great first introduction to riding by offering a 30 minute riding lesson that teaches the basics without ever leaving their side. This is a great way to introduce little ones to horses in a safe environment. Pictured left is Logan Grinton riding and competing at 4 years old.
What You Need to Know on the First Lesson
Upon arriving to the barn you will proceed down the driveway past the Earthquake sign, parking is located between the white fence arena and covered arena.
All riders must wear pants and closed toed shoes.
All riders must have a signed release form to be on property.
We are a covered facility but dressing in layers is always recommended. Bulky loose fitting clothes should be avoided.
Only equestrian approved helmets are allowed, we have them to provide, absolutely NO bicycle helmets.
Please ask to feed treats to any animals on property.
Children may not be left unattended at the barn.
Riding is exercise make sure you bring a water bottle in the heat.
Hour lessons start on time and will not be extended if rider is late, 10/15 minutes is dedicated to grooming and tacking of horse, the remainder is spent riding. Riders 3 and 4 years old are strongly recommended to do the 30min lessons unless evaluation suggests otherwise. Payment is due at time of lesson. We accept cash, check, cc, and Venmo. Please sign and print the release form provided below to save time at first lesson, we do always have release forms on property.
